How the RSS feed directory works, and what we accept.
The Community Directory is a curated list of RSS feeds, organised by country and subject, so anyone can quickly find trustworthy sources and import them into the app. It isn't a forum or social feed — there are no public posts, profiles, or discussions. You can browse and download collections, report a feed that's stopped working, or suggest a new one. Every submission is anonymous, and a human reviews each suggestion before it's published.
Submit the direct RSS or Atom feed URL of a publication. We automatically verify that the link is a working feed — broken or invalid links are rejected before they reach us. Including the publication's name, language, and a suggested category helps us list it in the right place.
Suggest a publication's own feed. Please don't submit feeds from services that republish or scrape other outlets' full articles without permission.
Don't submit your own blog or commercial service to promote it. Suggestions should genuinely benefit readers.
We don't list sources known for fabricated news, coordinated disinformation, or content that attacks people based on their identity. We may reject or remove any feed at our discretion to keep the directory trustworthy.
Submissions are anonymous by design — please don't include names, emails, or any personal details in the notes field.
If a listed feed stops working, tap Report broken next to it. Our server automatically re-checks the feed and flags it for us to fix or remove — no need to report the same feed more than once.
The directory lists community-submitted links to publishers' own public RSS feeds. We don't host, copy, or redistribute any article content — every feed belongs to its original source. If you're a publisher or rights holder and would like a feed removed, email us at contact@safeandinformed.com or use the Support page, and we'll take it down promptly.
Every suggestion is reviewed before it goes live, and any listing may be removed at our discretion to keep the directory safe and reliable. Because listings are anonymous community submissions rather than personal account content, we generally don't provide individual explanations — but you're always welcome to reach out with questions.
